Saturday Tidbits

Right now, as I type this, I am waiting to hear from Matt who is running in his first half marathon this morning (he's probably actually done by now). I am so proud of him. I just hope he isn't miserable the rest of the day.

I just changed the grossest diaper ever. Why are some so much worse than others????

We are the new proud owners of a Sit and Spin. I scored it for $2 at a garage sale this morning. We have found that it spins the best on non-carpeted floor. Fun times.

We leave for Disney World in less than a week! Woo hoo!

I am determined to not be stressed out and harried while on vacation. I really want to relax and enjoy it.

Lily is into everything lately. She tore a page out of a beloved library book yesterday. I prayed for this, right?

I was a total grouch yesterday. Hoping for a better day today.

It is yucky out today. Cold and windy. Not the best day for half marathons and garage sales, if I do say myself - but we overcame the elements!

This is a little late in posting, but we finally met our newest family member, Bella.

Abby got to hold her first GIRL cousin! She is beautiful- and tiny! Welcome to the world Isabella Marie!

Abby was having way too much fun trying to make Lily laugh. Abby would fall and slide all over the place and Lily would belly laugh. By the time I pulled out the camera, I think Lily was just humoring her. What do you think?

Anywhere Chair

If you've ever been to our house, you have probably noticed Abby's blue oversized chair. It is anAnywhere Chair from Pottery Barn Kids and has been worth every penny we spent on it. We don't do a ton of shopping there because they are so expensive (in my opinion), but the few things we have bought there have been worth it.

Now that Lily is more mobile, she loves crawling into Abby's Anywhere Chair and playing. This, of course, leads to problems with Abby. Just in the last couple of weeks I think both have pushed the other out of the chair at least a couple times. Today, I ran across town to the area mall that has a Pottery Barn Kids to buy a second Anywhere Chair. I looked online last night, but decided I didn't want to pay all that shipping.

Now, everyone is as pleased as punch (as am I, other than the fact that I'm out a hundred bucks).

Ready

Abby told me this morning that she was ready and very fashionable today. Do you agree?

The leggings are new to layer under all of her dresses and skirts, and her flip flops are courtesy of Old Navy. She fought me on the silver because she really wanted pink, but how cute are the silver? They will seriously go with everything. She doesn't looks so torn up about everything now, does she?
